Wear darkness with the finest light
Till even shadow comes in envy,
But stray not from it you be forsaken,
Nor stray too close it lest you are taken;
And do the doves not pull such fabric here,
Encumbent upon nature's seat is near,
My looming, my crass brows drooping,
These are the wings of light now stooping,
I cursed too deeply ev'n whilst shrouded,
Then all beauty leave such sight once held
In the smallest orbs upon such rays weld,
That was when I remembered mine hour,
When breath gave proof such life allow.
